Introduction

This guide provides instructions for setting up a simple wireless network and provides background information

on wireless LANs and the development of Cisco’s wireless products.

For the wireless LAN to operate with maximum range and throughput, the equipment must be correctly installed

and conﬁgured. The step-by-step instructions in this guide are suitable for most ofﬁce environments. If your
