Configure VPN Settings
XE "Configure VPN Settings" \t "See"
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a connection between two endpoints in different networks
that allows private data to be sent securely over public networks or other private networks. This
is accomplished by creating a “VPN tunnel.” The Cisco gateway can deploy at two customer
locations so that a VPN tunnel may be configured and connected between the two locations.
This allows clients on either side to access resources in the other site as though they are part of
the same LAN.
The configuration of this feature and the tunnel is customer-specific and is the responsibility of
the customer administrator.
