termination unit (NTU). NTU devices should comply with appropriate national safety standards
such as UL 1950, CSA 950, EN 60950, IEC 950, and AS 3260.

Only trained and qualified personnel should be allowed to install, replace, or service
this equipment.

The power supply circuitry for the equipment can constitute an energy hazard. Before you install
or replace the equipment, remove all jewelry (including rings, necklaces, and watches). Metal
objects can come into contact with exposed power supply wiring or circuitry inside the DSLAM
equipment. This could cause the metal objects to heat up and cause serious burns or weld the
metal object to the equipment.

and regulations.

chassis. Do not operate the system unless all cards, faceplates, front covers, and rear covers are
in place.
