Description Load Monitor dumps core when selecting sources on a

Source➤Destination Zoom

Symptom Selecting several sources in a Source➤Destination zoom results in a core

dump.

Details In a Source➤Destination zoom path, scroll the Destination graph to view

the hosts at the bottom of the viewing area. Select the host at the bottom

of the viewing area. Then select several sources in the Source graph.

This sequence often results in a core dump. [Defect ID 0804–23334]

Work-Around There is no good work around. However, the Conversation graph gives

information similar to what is found in a Source-Destination Zoom.

Description Load Monitor does not report FDDI CRC errors.

Symptom FDDI CRC errors are always zero.

Details Load Monitor always shows FDDI CRC errors as zero. [Defect ID 0804–

017590]

Work-Around None.

Description Load Monitor shows incorrect data on base frame

Symptom After loading a data ﬁle, the base frame shows the information for the

previous instance.

Details Run Load Monitor in standard or extended RMON mode then load in a

data ﬁle. The base frame shows information for the RMON instance, not

the data ﬁle. [Defect ID 0804–023663]

Work-Around Load the data ﬁle using the ‘-dataﬁle' command line option.

Description In Load Monitor Source, Destination, or Conversation graphs,

searching for the IP address does not work

Symptom Searching by hostname for a host not visible always results in failure.

Searching by dotted IP address always results in failure.

Details Searching by host only works for hostnames in the visible viewing area

for Source, destination, and Conversation graphs. [Defect ID 0804–

023887]

Work-Around None.
