What Types of Data Reports Are Available?
10.5.2.2 Generating a Utilization Data Report
Multiple Utilization Data Reports can be generated at the same time.
To generate a Utilization Data Report at the node level:
Step 1 In the Statistics Report, move the node from the Hierarchy pane to the right hand pane.
Step 2 Choose Utilization Data Report from the drop-down arrow. See Figure 10-3.
Step 3 Choose Utilization Report for Port from the drop-down arrow.
Step 4 Enter the threshold percentage in the Utilization Threshold Percentage field.
Note The threshold is the minimum utilization percentage after which you want to report, for example,
a 90% threshold report details data of >90%.
Step 5 From the Time Period Parameters area:
a. Choose one of the following time period schedules:
TOD (Time of Day) This value is specified by the user.
Prev Hour
Prev Day
Prev Week
b. Enter the start date in dd/mm/yyyy in the Start Date field.
c. Enter the start time in h:mm in the Start Time field.
d. Enter the end date in dd/mm/yyyy in the End Date field.
e. Enter the start time in h:mm in the End Time field.
Step 6 Click Generate Report to generate the Utilization Data Report for the threshold percentage.
Note If the Utilization Data Report lists more than 100 results, you must change the parameters and
narrow the query.
After receiving all the data, you can verify the data by using the formula conversions (see Table 10-5 and
Table 10-6). If no data is available, the status bar reports that the Utilization Data Report has no data to
report.
Note If you want to stop generating the Utilization Data Report, click Stop Report Generation.
