Chapter 3 Redirecting Calls on Your Phone
Sending Calls to a Voice Messaging System
• Immediate Divert is not supported when Call Forward All (CFA) and
Call Forward Busy (CFB) are activated.
• Immediate Divert cannot redirect a call to a busy voice messaging system.
• If you press the iDivert softkey while you are participating in a conference
call (ad hoc conference, Meet-me conference, or Join conference), the
conference participants hear your voice messaging mail box greeting.
Table 3-2 on page 3-9 shows the messages that might be displayed on your IP
phone’s LCD screen to indicate the status of an immediate divert action.
Table 3-2 Immediate Divert Status Messages
Message... Meaning...
Immediate Divert The call was successfully sent to a voice messaging mail box.
Key is not active The voice messaging profile of the last called party does not have a
voice messaging system access number.
Temporary failure The voice messaging system is not working or there is a network
problem.
Busy The voice messaging system is busy.
