Changing the LCD Screen Contrast

To improve the readability of the LCD screen, follow these steps to adjust the

contrast.

Procedure

Step 1 Press the Settings button.

Step 2 From the Settings menu, use the Navigation button to highlight Contrast and

press the Select softkey.

Step 3 Perform one of the following:

• To set the desired contrast level on your base phone—press the Up or Down

softkeys (or the Volume buttons). Press the OK softkey, then the Save softkey.

• If you have an attached Cisco IP Phone 7914 Expansion Module and want to

adjust the contrast, select Expansion Module(s) and follow the same

procedure used for your base phone.

Step 4 To restore contrast settings, from the Settings menu use the Navigation button to

highlight Contrast and perform one of the following:

• To restore your previously saved contrast setting—press the more softkey,

then the Restore softkey.

• To restore the factory default contrast setting—press the more softkey, then

the Default softkey.

Step 5 Press the Save softkey to accept and save your changes, and to exit the Settings

menu.
