5.7 Summary of SNMP Alarms and Events
Alarm priorities can be configured (cerent15216EdfaAlarmCfgPriority), so the default values are
provided in the tables below. Table 5-28 summarizes the ONS 15216 EDFA2 SNMP alarms.

greater than 95% of end of life value. Current must
drop to 90% of end of life value for alarm to clear.

drop to 90% of end of life value for alarm to clear.

3 ltmp1 Pump 1 laser temperature out of range. Chip
temperature deviating more than 10 degrees C from the
manufacturer-defined setpoint.

5 lpout Loss of output power. EDFA output power is deviating

6 lpin Loss of input power (signal). EDFA input power is
below the value of cerent15216EdfaLOSThreshold.
